The Department organizes guest lectures, seminars, workshops and training programs with the help of engineers and academicians of national and international repute to help students to keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of Instrumentation and Automation.
Every year the department organizes a national level technical symposium christened “SAI ICON” which attracts participation from numerous colleges from different parts of the country.

Our students have been recruited in leading companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, American Mega trends Incorporation, Mahendra British Telecom, Hexaware,Virtusa, Hewlett Packard, General Electricals, core companies like Invensys,saipem,Technip,Honeywell,Bosch Automation and few more to go.
We are regularly conducting Industrial visits for the benefit of students. Our students are enjoying the student section membership of various professional Bodies like ISTE,IETE.IEEE and ISA. our faculties are also members of various Professional bodies.

We have established 04 labs with state of the art facilities which includes a newly set up Advanced Virtual Instrumentation Lab with licensed software- LabVIEW to do R&D Projects and encourage students to do In- house Projects. |
