| The department of Information Technology was established in the year 1999 with an intake of 44 students. The department has grown steadily and today it has 31 highly dedicated faculty and 378 students. The department organizes guest lectures, seminars, workshops and training programs with the help of engineers and academicians of national and international repute to help students to keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of information technology The Placement record of the department is excelling and is towering to almost 90% every year. The department poses an excellent and progressive academic record. Every year the department organizes a national level technical symposium christened “Sai Techcellence” which attracts participation from numerous colleges from different parts of the country. The department has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE New Delhi. The Staffs and Students of our department are a member of ISTE. |

| The department has spacious classrooms, air-conditioned seminar hall, and a well-equipped laboratory. The department has a dedicated fully air-conditioned computer lab with 125 systems, all in a networked environment with un- interrupted power supply. These systems have the recent and most updated Softwares and they run various platforms such as Windows, Linux, Sun. The department offers free high-speed Internet facility through 68Mbps (Airtel-45Mbps, Airtel–45Mbps, Reliance-8Mbps) RF connectivity. The Department Library serves as a gateway to promote R&D activities by providing the recent journals and Magazines. The department library provides useful resources to students with books on 365 titles and 500 volumes, 2 International Journals, 3 National Journals, 50 CD's, 20 Lab Manuals, Question banks and Project Reports. | |||||||||||||
