| Highlights |
Mechanical Engineering Department has excelled in its infrastructure facilities by keeping on par with the latest trends. About 360 students have enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering branch supported by 25 experienced teaching and 17 non – teaching staff.
The Department has been producing excellent results with distinctions in the university examinations consistently. Our students have been actively associating themselves with industries through industrial projects, inplant training and industrial visits with organisations like FORD, HYUNDAI, IGCAR, TVS, and TAFE AND L&T. One of the projects titled "Helical rotary Engine" has won both national and international acclaim, besides many of the projects being funded by the ISTE.
The Association of Mechanical Engineering has been regularly conducting Seminars and guest lectures by eminent personalities in various fields of Mechanical Engineering.
