| About the Department |
Department of Science and Humanities has a galaxy of highly dedicated, well qualified and research oriented faculty members. Many of them are having doctoral degrees and others are in the process of pursuing their Ph.D. Many of our faculty members and various workshops and seminars as a part of our faculty development programme. The department is always striving hard to create and nurture scientific ideas in the young minds. |

| SAI HUMSA – The Association |
| The Association of Humanities & Science (SAI HUMSA) was started in the year 2000 with the aim of inculcating scientific and social awareness among the young minds. Professors from various leading institutions and organizations are invited to deliver guest lectures on various topics for the benefit of students. Frequent encouragement to the first year students is given to participate and exhibit their talents in the project exhibition, which stimulates them to undertake useful projects in the final year. |

| Technical Symposium on Applied Sciences |
| A state level technical symposium on Applied Sciences, CONVERGENCE, is being organized during every academic year to help the students to present their innovative ideas in the common forum. There is always on overwhelming response from the students of various engineering colleges all over the state for this symposium. |
